REAR BALL JOINT QUESTION
Hi guys, can anyone please tell me if there is a difference in any of the lower rear ball joints between our cars I.E MK1a / Mk1b/ SC/ USA spec/ Euro spec, any help really appreciate, cheers, Tony
Re: REAR BALL JOINT QUESTION
From the EPC the Mk1a has a different part number to the Mk1b. The SCs look the same as their a/b chassis.

Re: REAR BALL JOINT QUESTION
There's a difference. If I recall correctly the mk1a ball joint uses thicker bolts. I ran mk1b joints on my mk1a accidently for two years (before switching to mk1b suspension) since they came with new bolts and I didn't noticed they were thinner.
