1.5 Re-Shell

Post by Charged »

Hi all,

I'm getting the alignment done tomorrow on the new 1.5 at wheels in motion. Coilovers all round now

Does anyone know or have a link to the TRD settings? I used these last time if memory serves me correctly..

Cheers

Ollie

TRD setup:

toe-in:
ft=1.6mm (stock=1mm)
rr=3.2mm (stock=4-5mm)

castor = 6 deg (don't worry about this too much though )

camber
ft= 1mm neg (stock zero)
rr= 1.5 neg (stock 1 deg)
I asked God for a bike, but I know God doesn't work that way. So I stole a bike and asked for forgiveness.

Get the ride height you want, get it corner weighted and resist the urge to **** with them afterwards!

Thanks guys!

All set up now with the TRD settings and pointing in a straight line, much, much better! Next up, replace smokey turbo (I've been using the same CT26 Hybrid since 2006! - not a bad innings!) and some more boost!

Is that total toe or each side or how does it work?

Is that the one you brought along to JAE a couple of years back? Obviously minus the turbo engine...

Will we see you at JAE this year?

Yes indeed mate, I sold it and re-purchased it and then 1.5'd it..

I have a wedding to attend on the Saturday of JAE but aim to be there on Friday all being well.. luckily the groom has insisted on pig roast at the wedding so at least I'll get my fill! :D

Recent pics!

Someone accused it of being 'stanced' and said it must handle badly.. I can assure you that it drives very well indeed

That looks awesome Ollie! I remember seeing this as a standard car a few years ago, it's had a hell of a transformation.

Will you be at JAE this year?
