[Mk2] [Generic] Raybrig Headlamps

Post by MR22 »

Hi.

I have 2 questions about the listed headlamps:-

1. Are these correct for my Mk2 ?
2. Are they definitely genuine Raybrig ?

http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/281296446270? ... 1423.l2649

Thanks for any help.

1. They look to be correct.
2. Who knows? At about of 1/2 of normal price (normal price is around £100 plus shipping), your guess is as good as mine.

They don't say if they're LHD or RHD lenses. Although Malaysia also drives on the left, I would not assume it's got the correct pattern if I were you.

I've never seen Raybrigs for anything other than JDM. :-k

But if the authenticity is in question then therefore that assumption must also be...

Just to update, I contacted the seller with my questions plus, as suggested, whether they were for vehicles driven on the right or left of the road. The reply came back with a photo of an Mk2 stating they would fit this car.
Nothing else, just that they would fit this car.

Maybe language was a problem for the seller but imagine paying for them and then having an issue. Doubt it could be resolved properly.

Think I'll give them a miss. :(
