Engine management light comes on then goes off a few mins later
Hi guys, driving down the motorway, my engine management light came on for a few minutes then went off again. What could be the cause of this?

It will have stored a code... check it! 
Very little point us guessing at a plethora of possibilities when the use of a paperclip will probably massively narrow down the options.

what's the process to use the diagnostic box? Put the paper clip in first then turn ignition on? Or have ignition on before?
