Uneven rear
I need my arches rolled, I know this, and its going to get done. I've 35mm drop Apex strings and ET35 wheels and it rubs on deep bumps. Only thing is its that's its rubbing more on the right side and I'm sure the car sits slightly lower on that side. What could be causing this? Something misaligned?

Re: Uneven rear
Camber? Subframe offset?
Re: Uneven rear
Not sure. How do you check the subframe offset?
Re: Uneven rear
Ruler. Tape measure.
Could be spring sagging. How much do you weigh?

Re: Uneven rear
Probably just down to the extra weight on the driver's side making it rub more on that side, get a fat chick to sit in the passenger seat and see if it that evens out the rubbing
Re: Uneven rear
Or try swapping the springs round -- some springs will tend to sag. In FIAT circles this is known as "Cento droop".
Re: Uneven rear
Haha. Rent a fat chick?
I'm 11/12 stone and the springs are brand new. There's also a knocking but the mechanic that fitted them has checked all the drop links and top mounts etc. Just starting to P me off now.

Re: Uneven rear
Drop links shouldn't affect height of car side to side. You've no real alternative but to pull the struts, pull the springs, and measure unloaded height. Something simple is wrong.
FWIW (nothing) I'm 11 stone and have no sag/droop.
