mr2 na rev5 oil pressure light keeps going on when i go over 60 mph

mr2 na rev5 oil pressure light keeps going on when i go over 60 mph high gears mainly But there no sign of the car losing oil or burning oil and have been driving it hard and fast with no rattling or no problems with car cold start or hot just a funny oil pressure light come up.

Any idea anyone

How old is the oil?

The oil new but not sure what grade or if the filter has been has changed

is the light red or yellow?

being an NA if its a UK, itll have an oil level sender, yellow light

red light is oil pressure

the oil level senders fail, usually flickering the light...

Its yellow so its the oil level sensor... wat do i do to fix it

Check the level...

If it's low...top it up

If it's fine...you need a new sensor

The oil level is ok... the sensor... how do you do it and where is it located

bottom of the sump, 4 small bolts, and pull it out.. they are expensive though.

If sump is full of oil, no point in looking at oil level sensor to solve an oil pressure problem.

Yes, but only with the battery and engine bay fan lights, aka the three lights of doom
