micro switch on clutch?

Post by androo007 »

Hi again,

(I promise this is the last question for a while!)

One last thing I've noticed on my Rev 3 is a really odd sticking coming from the clutch pedal as i release it.

It never clicks on the way down, but twice....exactly in the same place on release. I can feel the click through the pedal a d it's a very clean clicking sound, just like a micro switch.

Never been any mods on the car.

Any ideas? It's baffling! I tried searching for similar posts but couldn't find anything

There's a free play adjuster, but no micro-switch.

Try a little lube? Could be pedal, could be linkage to master cylinder.

potential the free play adjuster is slightly loose.
its just a bolt, so the tapping noise could simply be the pedal touching the loose bolt.
