wideband gauges readings

Post by afennell »

Hi,

I have finally got my new turbo installed so the next job before she is mapped is to install my wide-band air/fuel gauge.

can someone let me know what readings i should be looking for while driving, on and off boost?

As I posted in your matching thread on the OC:

At idle or low down the rev range you should be oscillating around 14.7. While engine braking, it will go to 20 and might display as 'lean' or 'air'. On boost above 3500rpm, the AFRs should plummet below 12, and quite probably into the 10s depending on boost level.

The only way to know for sure is to make a note of what readings you get when it is mapped, and then keep this for future reference to make sure it is running the same as it was mapped :thumleft:
