Re: SMG Rev 3 Turbo ANZ1792
Got it about a month ago totally standard apart from the wheels which I'm not keen on at all but plenty of time to find some others. Very clean underneath which is main thing, saw yours when I was getting Cambelt done Simon mentioned it was going back to standard. By mirror image I meant it's same colour lol
Re: SMG Rev 3 Turbo ANZ1792
That's look amazing, I wanted a tintop when I bought mine but couldn't find one. Yeah as Simon says mine is going standard, engine wise. The only mods are the wheels and side skirts, I also got a Berk intercooler as the standard ones are pretty crap. The wheels and side skirts have been on at least since it was imported 13 years ago so I'm keeping those.

I went for a drive in the Yorkshire dales today and remembered my camera for once! 260 miles of running in miles done, so will change the oil for some 10w50 Nanodrive this week when it gets to 300 miles.

I polished the rear lights on Friday as they were a bit dull.
Before
After
I also took them off and cleaned behind both of them and the centre panel as it probably has never been done since it left the factory.

Was good to see you again on Saturday mate... What a lovely burble your car has. I noticed it when you were leaving and I was out at the car... It's awesome!
Those rear lights are like night and day though in the pics! I did notice that they looked nice and shiny compared to my dull ones haha! Fancy doing mine

Good to see you and the car back on the road. It does sound good cheers.
I only noticed my lights when mine was sat next to Gary's so decided to give them a good polish, the only thing it is impossible to stop polish getting in the join lines.

Re: SMG Rev 3 Turbo ANZ1792
I've done the 300 miles that Simon recommended to run the new engine in, so I popped down to get the oil changed to the Gulf Competition oil (proper ester synthetic) I got.
Nothing silly on the way home but all seems to be good and it boosted up nicely.
So just going to keep being sensible until about 500 miles and then see how it feels with my foot down.

Re: SMG Rev 3 Turbo ANZ1792
sounds good - to put things into perspective I'm off out for a drive with my 10-year old forged build.
Re: SMG Rev 3 Turbo ANZ1792
Done about 800 miles on the engine now and all spot on still. Loving the boost with none of the problems I had with the old engine.
Feeling slightly strange as I heard of a mint tintop for sale today and was tempted to buy it and swap the engine over. Luckily someone else bought it so I didn't have to make the decision. It has made me think I do want a tintop after all lol. So I think the best plan is to get moved and settled down South and then think about it, as I do love ANZ.
But plans are made to be broken....

Missing the 2 as she is now in storage as I've moved Down South. Got a 400 mile drive with her in about 3 weeks. Can't wait!
