[Mk2] [NA] Rev1 rear wheels on rev3
Wondered if anyone had managed to fit rev1 rear wheels over the later rev2 plus discs and calipers. Reason is sort of track car based. Know the fronts don't fit but doesn't matter.
Re: [Mk2] [NA] Rev1 rear wheels on rev3
Rev2+ brakes are bigger than rev1. The 14" rev1 wheels will not clear rev2+ discs.

You could fit Rev 1 wheels and discs and calipers to a Rev 2 if you wanted to.......not that you WOULD want to!?
To be fair the Rev 1 brakes are lighter, so on a BUDGET drag race or short hill climb car (where the brakes are not used to the point they overheat) putting them on a Rev 2 might make a screwy kind of sense.
Better to buy proper lightweight brakes though.
