Post by markyj1969 »

Only had my latest 2 for a couple of months now and i thought id post a pic of the engine bay now it's been cleaned up a bit, any comments would be good to hear and any other ideas to smarten it up a bit other than an induction kit which I'm sorting soon would be greatly received, not sure what else I can do, I cant seem to post an image in here but hope link below works.

Tbh the difference in induction kits is minimal, I wouldn't bother with expensive kits, eblag ones seem to do the same job.

Here's what I did to mine when I got bored

It took me about 6 hours to mask it and draw it all out. And I don't think there is a hose kit for an n/a, I have been looking but I can't find one.
The mongoose seems a popular choice for exhausts. At the moment I'm running a blitz nur spec but tomorrow I'm changing for a Japspeed. Induction wise I had an HKS filter when I got the car but it looked hideous and the previous owner had just used silicon to hold it on. I replaced with an "open ended" cone filter, I actually found that covering the "open end" it ran much better. Next up I'm making a heat shield for it

The Power Enterprise is a nice kit. Recommended by a lot of users. Comes with everything you need to make a perfect fit. I've got one fitted myself.

I'm pretty sure Samco do sell a full hose kit.
