Thor Racing have a lot of experience with the MR2 and the Apexi PFC. JJ and Paul Port also have a good knowledge of the product. I myself am running this very set up with good results

I'm running an Apexi PFC & commander but it isn't on a '2. Try giving Geff at RE:worx a call and ask him about them. He has spoken to me about these ECU's and '2s before but I couldn't find out what he wanted to know.
I don't know wht kind of experience he has with them on the'2 but he's second to none when it comes to tuning them with another car.
If you do get in touch with him feel free to PM me. I need to speak to Geff about something else unrelated so I can have a chat with him if you like and post back here. Either way - feel free to PM me.
