Flat spot/Kangarooing
As per title really, if I put my foot down it gets to around 3-4k and really bogs down and judders. Apparently the only thing electronic that hasn't been replaced is the coil and ignitor. Any ideas chaps?

Re: Flat spot/Kangarooing
Anything guys? Got a dodgy or badly installed fuel pump from a previous owner which whines excessively, could this be a fueling problem? No error codes either
Update. ...... wondered if my car was running in safe mode so did the ECU reset and the car now flies, boosting fine and no bogging down or juddering. Even the fuel pump whine has gone.
Any ideas people?
Thanks
Rob

Misfire upon acceleration now, little to no boost. Happens regardless of weather. At garage now, should hear summat early next week.

Re: Flat spot/Kangarooing
An update all,
Car taken to independent specialist, symptoms are terrible misfire and no boost.
Been like this since I drove it home from seller. After a week of investigation, findings are;
Ignition timing was out, after being assured it wasn't.
ECU tampered with; wire that controls fuel pump earthing out and other wires also messed with so new ECU needed, anyone got a second hand one for me?
Reports now being filed.
At least I might have it back for this nice weather!

Check plug wires and plugs itself for any cracks.
I had the same issue on my N/A... all the insulators were cracked for some reason.
