I'm up for joining a convoy, I have to drive past chievley anyway.
Would probably have to be the by about 7/7:30 to ensure you actually get into japfest

The OC are talking about a convoy, and someone had mentioned that it would be cool if IMOC were part of it too. 40 odd MR2 in convoy. :thumleft: Someone fancy being IMOC convoy sorter outer? I`ve never been to Castle Combe before so I don`t fancy leading any convoys in to be honest but would love to be part of it if we get one going.

Just had a google map session. I see, across the M4 so we will have a nice little run down the motorway it would look quite a sight if a good few of us make it. :thumleft:

We are looking at times. It depends where they put us? If we are at gate A, we can afford a little later at Morrisons (0730 ish). If we are down at gate C (Quarry corner) we need to be earlier.

At the moment, chievley (0615-0645 gate dependant), morrisans (0700- 0730 gate dependant). Gives us 45 mins to travel the M4.

Early I know, but in years past the que's have been terrible. You realy need the early start, or you risk not getting in until nearly midday.

I know a couple of good back roads we used last year from Morrisons we hardly que's at all. I'll keep you posted.

If motorway is a bit boring from Chieveley then there is always the option of going on the a4 and going through hungerford, Marlborough and Chippenham. Would take a bit longer though the scenery would be nicer.

It's not the most entertaining drive, but it's easy to keep large convoys together, no one gets lost.

I might even be tempted to drive down to chievely from Swindon and then come back up the m4 with the convoy lol

BTW - im notroubleclubber on MROC . Just thought it was a good idea as it looks like we are next to each other stand-wise.
Plus, I get bored with looking at the Hondas and subarus in the queues lol

Gutted looking at the map I would be coming in from the other side. It's an extra 35 miles to go to the convoy meeting place! =(

My mr2 isn't going to be any where near the standard of some of the 2`s on here. Mine is a budget build which everything has been done on the cheap!
However, Im there to add to the numbers and show my support for our brand.
