Well I got really close to buying a tidy MR2...

http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/251460935146? ... EBIDX%3AIT

But the guy lead me on to the point I was arranging transport down, and I took the money out of the bank and then he pulled out. He didn't even let me know he wasn't selling it. I had to Facebook stalk him to find out!!

Grr, why can't people just man up and apologize

Rant over.

Anyway, I have been looking at another one.

http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/REV-5-1998-TO ... 417c5dc443

It has been on and off eBay for probably a year so not sure what the crack is.

Does that seem a little over priced?

Not sure what he was after. Don't see why you would advertise a car if you weren't 100% on selling it. Wastes peoples time...#-o

As for the turbo's I would love one, but just can't afford the running cost and the initial price and insurance.
Plus going from a 90hp front wheel drive to a something so powerful and RWD would probably shorten my life expectancy

Cheers man, just been out for a cheeky drive in the dark. Awesome. 8)

I'll stick up some more pics when it's light again.

Planning on subtle mods:

Custom stainless exhaust (not loud though)
Darkened indicator lenses
Debating K&N but might just use the panel filter version.

Started with lights already, bought some Osram night breakers and some nice bright white LED's for the number plate.

Just watch out for the darkened indicator lenses this can mean an MOT fail. Clear ones with orange led's look better.. :-)

Cheers for the heads up. After looking I think I prefer the clear ones anyway:

Best to do that, or take the car to an old private industrial estate with lots of space so you get to know her. Its all about respect with these cars

Yea might do :)

I was thinking about doing a skid pan day. Wasn't sure if you can use your own car though...

Not sure i'd want to a skid pan in my car will kill your tires. I would recommend a track day though with some driver instruction. Learning to drive your car fast on a track can really help you understand and control your car better on the normal road a slower speeds.

Its in a better controlled situation as well less chance of hurting yourself or anyone else.
