Re: best brake pads?
I'd be looking at yellow stuff or ferodo DS range are very good for fast road.
I use carbotec xp8s but they are stupid money albeit fantastic pads but I wouldn't have them if it was only used on the road.

Chris Wilson fast road pads seem to be the best all rounders. I've done a fair bit of searching and i've not found a bad word about these

Unfortunately ferrodo dont make DS2500s for the mr2, i'm gonna vouch for carbotech though. They may be expensive but their performance justifies the price.
Re: best brake pads?

Re: best brake pads?
Thanks for the kind words about the pads, I have been trying to get a trader account for months on here and have all but given up. Was promised a slot and I was happy to pay, but things just fizzled out. I do my pads for a wide range of cars including the current shape Nissan GTR which I have just taken stock of. Please contact me direct. [email protected] or by phone on07971-952084 I have fast road compound pads for all the MR2 range.
Thanks again for the nice feedback!

Not currently, whilst very popular in the USA they don't seem to have caught on much over here. 90% of my pads are for stock production calipers. I do a small range for race calipers, but to be honest, those using expensive lightweight dedicated race calipers want and need specialist race compound pads.
