He's alive. I've seen him post recently!

Best way to get hold of him is to call, and leave a voicemail if he does't pick up

Glad to hear you're still alive and well Peter! Do you remember fitting the koni sports suspension kit on my blue mk1 about 7 years ago? Best money I ever spent. Won't forget the ride in your Noble too in a hurry

Hi Paul!
Good to hear from you, and good to see you still have the Mk1!
Would i be right in saying yours was the one with seized bolts all over the chassis? If so, then the nightmares have reduced significantly over the years.
Distributor Kit price
I am glad too but still waiting for Distributor Kit price. I hope that happens soon!
Re: Has anyone seen / heard Peter Gidden?
Hi Peter. Yes, you remember correctly. We changed it from the old, tired standard suspension to a koni sports suspension kit and poly bushes. Lots of seized bolts and took a lot longer than we anticipated. I remember driving back home down the M1 thinking, 'what has he done to my car?' as it was so firm and bouncing over every crest in the road! A few hundred miles later though when it had all bedded in it felt great and still does to this day 😀. You also taught me the importance of copper grease which I now liberally apply whenever I've taken anything apart 👍.
Re: Has anyone seen / heard Peter Gidden?
hey guys, your private messages with peter went public somehow
Re: Has anyone seen / heard Peter Gidden?
If that was meant at me then no, they were meant to be public. I was expressing gratitude to Peter for the work he did on my car which I was very pleased with.

Peter didn't answer his phone today after i let it ring for 15 seconds, but he did call me straight back 10 seconds later..... i was >...< this close to starting a thread about it.
It's almost as if he has nothing better to do
Mr2 specialists are very busy people, if we don't drop everything to answer you it will be because we are underneath someone elses Mr2 covered in rust and oil.
