my front antirollbar bushes are totally shot Ive been looking for some new ones
but I measured it and its not 18mm but 17.5mm???

That's just corrosion, it will be 18mm. Early rears were 10mm, mk1b 12mm and SC 14mm.

Its seems 17.5 thoughout its length ill measure again and take a pic of my caliper reading

It'll be 18mm.
Sorry to be pedantic I'm pretty sure JDM SC's often didn't have rear ARB's or just got the 12mm one which was post 1988 from what I can recall.
