[Mk2] [NA] rev 3 spoiler removal and water protection

Post by nordland071285 »

hi all, I need to remove the spoiler on my rev 3 to get it painted
my question is.. how do I remove it?

and secondly, do some plugs exist for the spoiler holes to protect them from rain?

thanks
happy new year!

4 nuts, 2 screws. Accessible from inside of boot lid. you just need some rubber grommets to fill holes once spoiler removed.

Good idea to replace the 2 spoiler gaskets when you come to refit the spoiler.

Your local Toyota dealer. Or one far away if you prefer.

Part numbers are:

1 x 76888-17020
1 x 76881-17020
1 x 76882-17020
1 x 76887-17020
2 x 76899-17020

Blast from the past and saves making a new thread.

Peter, are those part numbers for the rev 5 spoiler only? Looking for the one's for a rev 3 spoiler.

So the two main gaskets are the same on both models then.

Which of those part numbers are for the base mounting point on the boot lid?
