[Mk2] [Turbo] Traction control light and Error code 35

Post by b8ucks »

Hi guys,

On my rev 2 turbo, once the traction control kicks in, the Traction control light stays on. I've checked the error codes, and it is displaying code 35. I've had a good look on the forum, and this appears to be for the Turbo pressure sensor.

However, before I replace this sensor, I'd like to know if this could be related to the Traction control? A few posts on here have linked error code 35 with the TC light, but I couldn't get a conclusive answer. Has anyone got any ideas?

Cheers

How did you do the diagnostic check?

E1 and TE1 for engine?
or
E1 and TC for ETC?

Thanks for the reply. I did E1 and TE1 for engine.

I can do E1 and TC and report back if it helps shed some light?

Check your traction control error codes as this will also put the P/S and ABS systems into diagnostic mode also. Unfortunately as the traction control option was quite rare it would seem no one has a list of the codes. It's likely that fixing a problem with the ABS will fix the TRC.

I have a problem with mine, but haven't been to find a list of the TRC codes anywhere. The only solution I can think of is to take it to an auto electrician to work it out.

Best of luck.
