Storage box behind driver seat

Currently in my mr2 i have a storage box with lid behind my drivers seat but nothing behind my passenger, Does the drivers side box fit into the void being the pass'?

or are they side specific?

I'm sure they are side soecific,one has a lid with lock and internal part to it and the other is just a lid I'm sure. There's usually a speaker in the passenger side. If someone's had a sub enclosure the lid will have probably been removed

Both boxes are handed

some cars have none
others have a box behind driver, and a sub speaker behind the passenger
others have a cubby box behind driver ,and nothing but a lid behind passenger

others have two subs

The front of the passenger will have a speaker grill on it, if it should have a sub in there and the carpet will have a hole in it
