Absolutely! :)

The old girl's home now. Had a bracing drive back in the lovely November conditions :eye:

I'll throw up some words and photos later :D

Right then, the journey back.. As you might have guessed, it was kinda chipper out there today. Thankfully though the rain held off, after monitoring it all week.

The car feels completely different and while it really needs tuning, it does drive so much better than before. Much more responsive, much faster, even though I didn't even get of 4k revs so wasn't on cam. It feels like a much happier car. :) After a dyno tune I think it's going to be quite a spicy little machine, as it lights the tyres up now, without really trying. It's still overfueling, especially at lower revs, but it's much better than it was before. God knows just how bad it must have been

Nck's been an absolute star with all of this and for that I'm eternally grateful. Thank you good sir :thumleft:

Looking to book it in for tuning in the next couple of weeks. Might as well sit in the garage all winter tuned, rather than not 8-[

We'll try and take it out whenever possible over the winter, as it would make a good ice bath equivalent

Very eager to see what it can do, however I can't see that happening properly until next year now :(

Any news on yours?

Bang on.

It's a shame it wasn't right from the start. You'll have spent a lot more than you wanted to no doubt, but hey at least now you know the car and all that!

Well, one of us certainly does

Now I've made a big improvement, let's see how many little improvements Phil can make over the winter

He has indeed. The engine didn't feel like it was going to fall out even once on the way back, so all the bolts must be tight

Yep, lessons learnt and all that. It's not been too bad costs wise and it should hold most of it in resale value, if/when the time comes :)

Winter fettling

There's a few jobs lined up, with mounting the rear diffuser being right near the top of the list.
