Many Geoffs in Japan, are there? ;)

Don't be ludicrous, everyone knows that geoff took that week off.

The build date of that lovely semi detached white house in the background.

I see your piston heads ad. The car is a 1997. Thank you.

No idea, but certainly not found on EU, US or Canadian VIN plates.

Correct.

Correct.

All cars in Australia regardless of country of origin have stamped into compliance plate month/year of build. Not 'day', or 'time of birth' - but where does a cars life begin? At first ignition or when the steel is thrust into ye mould?

The month/year of construction is noted on the vehicle data on Toyota EPC2 Data.

PM me the frame number (SW20-XXXXXXX) of the vehicle and I'll be able to tell you.

My EPC will display manufacture date (MM/YYYY) from any frame number Peter. Along with interior trim type etc.

Thanks. My bad. I was thinking of key number, which you can get for UK cars, but not JDM.

Been doing a bit of research. On the 10th March you posted:

james8iles wrote:Hi all,

At high RPM (5k-7k) and high speed I find it hard to put it into the next gear. This is happening in 3rd, 4th and 5th.

I am going to change the gear box oil but before I do so, has anyone seen this before? Is it fatal?

Thanks in advance

Just wondering..... Has this been fixed (if so what was wrong + do you have proof?) or is this still an issue?
