I am going to remove the dizzy and leads but does the car have Ignition timing on the dizzy ie can I my mistake change this when I remove

Are you removing the whole distributor though, or just the cap? If you're just doing a service and replacing the cap
& arm then the distributor won't move.
If you are going to redo the ignition timing then you need to put the ECU in diagnostics mode first, by connecting TE1 and E1 together in the diagnostics plug.
