first thing is ive unplugged the ISCV and the idle drops to about 600 or so, so i know that seems to be doing something

ive been to to look for air leaks, cant seem to find one, when i squeeze the one of the large vacuum hoses of the induction pipe that goes under the inlet manifold it will drop alot and look to stall, recovers as soon as i let go of the hose.

Its a rev2 turbo but has a rev map sensor so i assume its had a full rev3 conversion from that point of view, but i cannot see an AIT sensor in the induction pipe

asked a mechanic next door to my unit and he thinks the mapper may of set the idle that high, when its up to temp if you turn the engine off and restart it straight away it will sit at 1000, as soon as you rev it a bit even a little bit it will idle at 1200 ish, maybe the throttle body needs changing?
