Handbrake Cable Colours?

Hi, ive got an assortment of handbrake cables in my shed and I need to fit them to my Rev 3 UK SW20 as it hasn't got any at the moment. There are various lengths and some have coloured tape on them. The cables have come from various revision MR2's so I'm not sure if they differ either?

Can anyone tell me what colour/length is for what side?

These are swiped from Eurocarparts for my car Rev 2? Not sure if they'd be different ?

Anyways, Rear left - 1617mm

Rear right - 1619mm

According to them they're from 91-99 so Rev 2 - 5

Rev2+ drivers side has a blue sticker.
Rev2+ passenger side has a green sticker.

IIRC rev1 had different colours - red & yellow.

having put them all side by side when i had all 4 colours, i can honestly say i dont think it matters, the slightly different length must be down to the fact the rev1's had slightly smaller brakes but giving that that curve from the chassis to the brakes would it matter - i dont think so but maybe someone will know for sure

Ahhh... Some of them haven't got tape on them. Does anyone know what length they are or which side is longer than the other?

As above like I said

Rear right is longer than rear left but not much difference

i had the Rev1 one cables on my Rev3 and the handbrake didn't work properly as the cables didn't allow the rachet system on the rear brakes to work. Thanks to Peter at Sbits for changing them over for the proper cables and the handbrake has actually worked ever since
