clunking noise from front suspension

Post by Mrs Blackpool »

front suspension on a rev 1 was totally ok.
My rev3 had seized front top mounts. swapped struts, springs and mounts as a complete unit from rev1 to rev 3 and now have a clanging noise when drive over dips/holes nothing when going over bumps............cant work out whats causing it

didnt make that noise when fitted on the rev 1 so why doing it now?

any ideas on this please

Thanks

It could be the bushes on the arbs etc.... Maybe think about switching out for Polybushes?

This resolved it when I had similar symptoms after fitting all new suspension, ball joints, drop links, top mounts, etc... :thumleft:
