I an going to change my old original seats for a set if bucket seats. Can I use the rails from ny old seats over to the bucket seats i decide to get for my motor and will they still work fine ??????

Yes if you can make them fit

Ive heard that with some light modding Evo recaros make a good fit and for a pair are relatively inexpensive

I have just removed some Raceland bucket seats from my MR2 to replace them with originals. The Raceland seats are no stock MR2 runners and it looks to have been a simple bolt on job. Not all buckets will be the same but its goot to know MR2 rails are flat and square so make for easy fitment.
The seatbelt is mounted to the stock rails aswell remember so it will have to be retained some how.
