Bought 'Bilsteins' are they actually billies?

Post by nickg07 »

Hi, so I bought a set of used billies from ebay, however, upon checking the rear struts, I cant make out a bilstein sticker and it has TOYOTA embossed into the strut casing, is this still a bilstein?

Also did a quick bounce test out the back and turned the fronts upside down and pushed down on them, on the return they make a slight sucking noise, is this right?

Im a noob can anyone help?

Do they have a big hexagonal nut where the shaft meets the strut or is it just a smooth end?

Billies aren't rebuildable(well not eonomically) and don't have the nut.
