having done only 9 miles since passing my bike test i'm at a complete loose end with what to do with the mr2, I don't really enjoy driving any car anymore so I'm going to sell it before the MOT runs out (the tax has just ran out)
anyway, it's a rev3 tubby in solar yellow, GT model i believe, the engine sounds spot on it doesn't smoke or rattle, has never used any water and doesn't lose oil, power delivery is exactly as it should be and always starts first time every time, even having been sat for more than 3 weeks! the mileage varies from MOT to MOT and i've found receipts for the speedo being changed, so I have no idea what the true mileage is, i'm sure if you spent a day with the MOTs and receipts it could be worked out however, overall condition and the sound of the engine leads me to believe the mileage is low.
modifications include big intercooler, berk tech decat, japspeed exhaust, hks type BOV ( ihave a genuine greddy s Bov that i will throw in for free)
hks mushroom air filter, electronic boost controller mounted in the old clock face, boost gauge fitted in the standard location, although the boost controller also has a gauge on it, the car also benefits from a Blitz access ecu, mapped to 22psi for the mods on the car, this also raises the rev limit to 8000rpm and removes the speed limiter, i have the boost set to 17psi.
car is also fully dynamatted. interior is in great shape with half .leather. oh, it also has a momo millenium steering wheel and gearknob
as for suspension, it's on apexi springs and i think just standard shocks, also sits on nice enkei rp01's.
i've fitted subs in custom made enclosures (they need carpeted) and a couple of amps, the head unit only taks a USB stick, it's actually a great wee unit.
Mot runs out in november i think, i will have to double check, it went through with no advisories and will fly through another, i can tax it at buyers expense too.
price is £3950, I'm in no rush to sell at all. i know it'll MOT again no problem.
any question feel free to ask,

This really is a lovely lovely car... I don't see you having much hassle shifting this at all.
Wish I had 4k to spare over building mine :p
Good luck mate

Cheers mate, i'm deffo gonna stick to my guns on price, too many people underselling their mr2s, they are getting rarer now so should command a better price in my opinion.
Re: [FINALIZED] yellow rev3 tubby t-bar price dropped again. £2300!!!
Yeah I totally agree with you mate. They Are worth far More than people credit them for... And when it's a clean example like above I don't see why anyone would expect to pay less

won't get a chance to do this until tomorrow mate, however, i'll be taking looooads of pics as it's away to get listed on ebay, change in circumstance means i need the space (bought another car) on the driveway, so i'd rather get shot of this while the MOT is still in,

willing to listen to offers on this, really have no love for it anymore
wee bit of rust on sills, very easy fix. needs a bit of trim inside too, the part that has the drivers side air vent ( i have the air vent), the trim was cut for an android device housed in it. looked good but i wanted the device back, anyway, offers in the region of 3k. didn's want to drop the price as much but it's such a shame seeing it sitting at work doing nothing everyday

new price seems to be generating some interest, still no offers though, just to clear up, the work needed on the sills is minimal, a rub down and a paint is all that's needed.

Re: [FINALIZED] yellow rev3 tubby t-bar price dropped again. £2300!!!
seriously contemplating keeping this now, i think it'd be silly to drop the price any more just to shift it on, i don't need the money and i don't strictly need the space as i can keep it at work. i think the car is worth more than the asking price but unfortunately, it just seems like a rubbish time for selling, i'll most likely clean up the rusty arches and fix the interior trim.
