Spal fan wiring

Post by Ethan21 »

Hi

I have heard conflicting stories, with a intercooler spal fan do I run an separate power cable to it, or do I just wire up to existing plug (or does doing this fry the ecu)?

How sensible is it to leave the fan running constantly as well?

Thanks

Hi, where did you get your spal fan from and what size is it?

Cheers, Michael.

best bet is to run it from a relay using the existing wire to trigger the relay and use a new power feed.
