Ok im after some info, i have a mk2 rev 1 turbo with the following mods

Rev 3 head
Ct20b turbo
Upgraded intercooler
Electronic boost controller
Decat
Hks induction kit
Hks exhaust

And i am getting rev 3 management with bigger injectors


Im just after what hp people may think im running?

probably around the 260 mark assuming you're running 1 bar of boost.

hard to say mate but you'll essentially have a full rev3 conversion, so 300Bhp should be easily achievable, change the head gasket to a steel one and you could run 17psi, should see around the 300bhp area

haha, can of worms mate, so many different opinions on this, most reckon the internals can take around 340-350, others argue that with a decent map they can take 400-500. i've personally seen (on and off here) so many cars fail at around 300-350bhp (with and without being mapped properly) that i reckon around they are good for around this figure, my own car runs around the 330bhp mark, you will need an aftermarket ecu and a good mapper.

they are mapped up to 17psi, so i think around 300bhp is the most you can get from them. i have a blitz ecu, mapped for 22psi.

Remember you will have 8.8:1 compression ratio from the Rev 2 engine and not the 8.5:1 from the Rev 3 engine so will not be able to run as much boost unless you have a higher octane fuel.

i dont see how that could have any real added bhp benefit.

id still guess 250-270hp with or without the rev3 ecu conversion at 1bar.

What are you after? If its more power, how much?

Sorry I didn't note you had a rev3 head (i have to assume along with cams/manifolds), I which case I'd add another 10hp to my hp guesses.

For 350hp really need to be looking at a bigger turbo, injectors and standalone ecu.
Am sure you can get close, 320-330hp with stock ecu/fueling with a bigger turbo, I'd leave it there unless you want to be risking stuff breaking.

Agree with the above, 320 is plenty for these cars. Theyre a handful as it is.
