Thanks Lauren, it would appear to be normal, the mounts will only sit where they sit and once the rear gearbox bracket is bolted up there is no adjustment anywhere, it's just odd seeing the 4a not sitting level because it sits level in every transverse application. I feel like shimming the NS engine mount to correct it but it wouldn't be how it's meant to be.... oh well!

A project i had to stick on the back burner due to unexpected staff shortages and unforseen complications with the build, but recently i have been getting stuck into this one again with the aim of full completion very soon. One of the main stumbling blocks was the fact that the Supercharger engine harness was nowhere near long enough to reach into the cabin..... a major setback, so i have had to extend each ECU wire (some of them shielded signal wires) by 4 ft so the ECU canbe safely mounted dry in the cabin....

I am almost there with this, then i can resume the project again as normal, hopefully there won't be anymore surprises and i can roll this one out soon.

I did wonder what happened to this! Wondered if it'd gone the same way as mine, basically just not got round to it!

Still good to see you are making progress, that wiring doesn't look like much fun.

That reminds me, I really should pull my finger out!

I haven't touched it since last August. Tom rebuilt the engine it's fully assembled, he just forgot to upload the last set of pics.

It's current state:

We'll get it together, was hoping for July but just too busy. Maybe JAE? There isn't much of a rush, I've got a GT86 to drive round in after all.

Wiring now extended into the cabin for the GZE ECU, that's a job i never want to do again.

The old 4a-ge loom has also been stripped down to remove the engine harness wiring from chassis stuff, Toyota decided to integrate the reverse light switch, wiper and washer motor wiring into the engine harness, thanks for that. It's now part of the GZE loom keeping it the same way Toyota had it although the logic for them doing it that way escapes me.

I also researched the pinouts on both the GZE ECU and GE ECU and have tabled both sets of connectors, so pretty soon i will begin the wire up.
