Hi, I have searched and searched and there are a lot of different answers.
I have a 1992 rev 2 turbo with 75k on the clock, what oil would you recommend and would I need fully or semi synthetic? What's the difference between fully and semi synthetic?

Re: [Mk2] [Turbo] Oil?????
Oilman AKA the forum face of company Opie Oils posted a good thread about synthetic oils versus semi synths.
He will also provide you all the info you could ever want about any fluid for the mr2.

The Silkolene Pro S is 40 quid on opie, a bargain for one of the best oils you can buy. Someone will be along to say semi is ok and it had it when it was new but I don't personally agree with it.

10w40 semi-synth Magnatec. Change it at least twice a year, oil filter at least every second time (genuine filter).
That's what I do ....eeek
