Have you done away with the stock filler neck etc then? I've seen people remove the stock bottle on other sites in the pursuit of wire tuck nirvana, but it always concerned me that it cause issues.
No real harm done, other than a couple of ego grazes, which we all get from time to time

Beans - yea I done the filler neck mod and shortened the big massive hose that connects to the hard pipe on the firewall, tbh most the coolant pipes are different, the hard pipes that run around the back of the block I also cut in half and the hose from hell is now the turbo water feed! I think the only pipe I have not touched is the one from the water pump to the rad. Tb be fair, the coolant bottle is the only prob I've had and that was my silly mistake, everything else has held up fine

I have always believed that a real true mechanic has to be a master of bodge jobbing! It proves an understanding of what things do and how they work... Got my expertise from years of BMX, fixing broken chain links with vices made from flints, cracked frames held together with jubilee clips and deep cuts repaired with superglue -perfect foundation

Bodges or not it's quite the engine bay. It makes mine look dirty and cluttered
