It pretty much ended there by default really, as suitable locations aren't really in abundance in these cars

It can be made to. I'm hoping the car doesn't end up that bad as that needs to happen though

Thanks all Not rocket science but thanks all the same
Poked my head underneath tonight, to scope out how I'm going to approach removing these bolts. Looks like the pan with have to be removed, so it's a weekend job. However I did notice that the chargecooler water return hose was pretty much wrapped around the coolant pipe, which isn't going to help temps really Simple enough to move and some spare piping pieces were used to wrap/isolate the two. Should help prevent any unwanted heat transfer between the hot and cold pipes

Yep- my charge cooler coolant pipes had been installed the same
I've separated them, and insulated the pipes to keep the engine coolant heat away- definitely worth doing imo

I guess it's a natural line to follow and it was me who installed them, so it's my own fault It's one of those things you (well, me at least) don't think about at the time.
Hopefully this should give just enough gap. If not it'll be pull and reinstall Might need to be desert compliant at some point

Nice work
Is that front one the same legal font size then? Looks smaller than the rear plate, but that could just be trick photography.

Is that front plate legal?
Edit: beat me to it
