What's wrong with the hinges Kyle ?

Is it the pin that's worn ?

Havn't ever read anyone mention door hinges before

More & more Mk1 parts are becoming unavailable :(

Well i only need one hinge as my passenger door has dropped by about 10mm and now does not seal properly :-k Could it just be the pin or what?

Open the door wide

Get an assistant to lift & drop the outer edge while you watch what happens to the hinges

A quick fix for a dropped door is to unbolt the bottom hinge, then bolt it back up with some washers under it

I shall post a photo the morrow but it seems that when the wing was replace the door has been repositioned so that its higher up and overlaps where it used to sit on the seal.... :? hard to explain but i shall try and post a photo tomorrow whilst working on the car. :thumleft:
