What jobs have you got planned for the weekend?
I took delivery of some new rear brake discs, pads, Goodridge hoses and calliper service kit today so I know what ill be doing. I wish I'd ordered the front calliper kit at the same time. I guess I'll be clamping the brake hoses next weekend.

Driving it, and driving it hard. Also have to squeeze an RX-8 engine into an MX-5.

Rotary MX-5 sounds like a laugh, I don't envy you trying to do the swap though.
I will be checking for any intake or coolant problems to suss my stalling problem. Apart from that, I will probably take her out for a spin at some point, just hope it doesn't continue to rain....

I hadn't done any research before taking on the calliper refurb, and now it looks like there is at least one SST that I don't have. This weekend could get frustrating.

Gearbox change on sunday hope the rain holds off don't like the idea of scurrying around under the car when it's peeing down.

Isn't it missing the woodsport sticker on the inlet manifold Paul?

Today I can either mess with the drop links and track rod ends with the car on the street or just go for a drive . Hmmm... the sun is shining.

I hope I never get seriously tempted to change an engine, not even straight swap. Those things have so many pipes and cables that they look like a Rubik's Cube to me . I just about manage straight swaps of things bolted together.

A full set of SuperPro bushes arrived yesterday so I might well schedule that work for the weekend.
While the car is up on blocks with her boots off I might just install the braided hoses and new caliper seals. There's nothing quite like trying to do too much in one weekend, eh?

Replace COP leads, clean rocker and head, replace head gasket and head bolts, and spark well gaskets. Fit painted TOM's skirts and spoiler.
Can't wait to get started!

I hate losing a whole weekend of potential work, but it happens. Now I have to squeeze in a weekend of work into 5 weekdays - easier for me than for most of you guys, but not without problems.
So for my 'weekend' I plan to refit the cleaned & painted ARBs, and make sure the new bushes soothe trick. Then I have to figure out how I'm going to go about replacing the rest of the bushes.
