Yep it's in safe hands with me, and with me being a Mk1 lifer it will always be kept alive, the molds will only ever be passed on to someone with the same passion for this kind of thing, I doubt that will ever happen though.

So whats the difference between this and the Fritzinger from the other thread?

Is there even a difference?

Love the kit btw, would be tempted by it when I have some money to play with.

Two totaly different kits. The Fritzinger is much wider and much more edged, plus the Fritzinger kit don´t use the stock bumpers like the Haslbeck kit does:

Ah I see.

Both cool in their own way.

I like the haselberg kit. One question though, do the three quarter vents on the sides actually vent into the engine bay?

On the drivers side it vents to the usual vent, on the passenger side it is a dummy vent with the fuel cap being part of that vent.

Did you buy that blue wide arched rolling shell I wondered what happened to it

Nope, I purchased her white over graphite grey track car.

It had been standing outside for a couple years!
Sadly I scrapped the custom wide body, kept the front wings still have them.

Ah it looks like I may have to remove those and have them moulded as separate pieces, the rear quarter panel may not release from the mould with those on, it looks like they were separate to start with and Haslbeck blended them in, so the whole rear spoiler assembly could be separate.

Sincere thanks to Mike for scanning this excellent article in and sending it to me, a review from 1987 with some very interesting facts, makes superb reading.

It says it is unlicensed, so not sure, the reg for my yellow one gives different details so even though my one used to be white it looks like they are two different vehicles produced at the same time, so there were at least two UK Haslbecks.
