stock suspention service?
Can i service the stock suspension? The rubber parts have split!

I assume you mean the boots and bump stops? You can get OEM replacements from Toyota or gtschris sells an aftermarket alternative, see here.

Just what I was looking for thank you
The 'boots' are shot to pieces, how can i tell (when I dismantle' if the dampers will be reusable?
Also what would the best lowering springs be considering I am going (dare I say it) Veilside

In my experience of running a Veilside front bumper I wouldn't recommend lowering it any further than stock or you'll be forever scraping the underside of it. It's bad enough on stock springs, I think if you went any lower you'd destroy it in no time.

The guy who started this thread mentions getting a "chin lift" done to his VS bumper to improve ground clearance although he doesn't go into detail. Probably worth asking him what he did as it might mean you could get away with running a lower than stock setup with the VS bumper

I have dismantled the suspension, but how can I tell if the dampers are ok?

I have however they balloon and expand when the strut is pushed in!
