Hi

have any of you guys come across a sard analyse ecu for the rev 3?

iv just bought this and wanted to know what i should expect from it
more aggressive map ?
raised rev limit ?)

I'd be VERY careful if the rev limit has been raised... :shock:

the stock rev limit on an na rev 3 is what .. 7400 right? iirc the sard increases it to 8200

They have more performance orientated mapping, possibly a raised rev limit and will also remove the speed limiter.

don't even consider fitting without thoroughly checking it out on a rolling road imo.

And it's a gt4 ecu.

its a na ecu.. the gt4 one has 3sgt written on them not 3sg

That ECU is for a ST202 Celica, JDM, '93 -'99

it will be going into my corolla (engine and loom from a celica)

We have a toms ecu on our rev3 track car. So far haven't managed to find the rev limiter - power tails off after 7200 anyway. Instant throttle response and strangely better fuel economy. Run it on super obviously.

Good find, haven't seen a sard one before. check it with a wideband

haven't a picture of the rev 3 toms ecu but this is the other one I have in my rev2 road car. it has a dial on a lead and toggles to play with that I have no idea about. think the dial on the lead is timing.
