[Mk2] [Turbo] top end
Hi I have a rev 2 tubby with uprated intercooler mongoose exhaust and blitz ecu just wondering if anyone knows why my car tops out at 130 mph as I thought the ecu de-limits the cars top end???
Re: [Mk2] [Turbo] top end
What do you mean by tops out? Does it hit a limiter, which is quite abrupt...or does it just run out of go?

Its quite a harsh limit but I thought the blitz ecu de limits the car?
Re: [Mk2] [Turbo] top end
I think the stock ecu limits the car to 120mph...maybe the Blitz has increased it by 10mph
Might be worth using one of the aftermarket de-limiters?

You speedometer should have been converted when it was imported. This will also remove the 112mph JDM limit.
Remove the instrument cluster and check whether you have one soldered to the loom.
If not, on ebay about £20.

My speedo is out buy 10mph so do you think it has not been converted ? but that doesn't explain why it has a harsh limit at 130 mph
