Thanks for the heads up :thumleft:
I've contacted them and been told that the tickets are definitely going out this week. Fingers crossed.

They won't tell me where our plot is yet though but apparently those details are being published next week

Looks like bonzodog from GT86 is going to have the available stand pass :thumleft:

However... there is another spare ticket available as someone else can't make it. So I'm cycling through the list again \:D/

Japfest 2013 @ Castle Combe - anyone have a spare stand pass / tracktime slot

Post by rowey200 »

Long shot I know but if anyone can't use their stand pass or track slot for Japfest 2013 at Castle Combe please let me know via PM.

My circumstances have changed so I can now make the event and i'd love to get my latest MK 2 on track \:D/

Cheers,
Matt :thumleft:

The wanted address list looks like this now:

- EmMr2
- Nick
- nigel753
- cartledge_uk
- BRZ2 (GT86OC)
- Tinker2 (MR2OC)
- MrAndy (MR2OC)

The way this is going it looks like some tickets will probably stay unclaimed and therefore will be up for spares closer to the time.
As such the all important reserves list now looks like this
1) bonzodog - GT86OC
2) simon1 - MR2OC
3) ScottyDog - MR2OC
4) chaos19810 - MR2OC
5) scoobykarl - MR2OC
6) simba90

Two weeks to go! I hear my car is out of the body shop but still has a load of work left to sort..! Plus it needs putting back on the road as it`s currently SORN/needing M.O.T. Fingers crossed as I`m looking forward to this!

Well look what the postman came bearing today

They will be posted out today - I fear that I will spend my one rest day out of 14 days writing envelopes all day! lol.

These were also included and will be sent in x4 random envelopes. Could you be the lucky one....

No problem - anything to help out IMOC and our members. Lol, thanks for the offer - IMOC will be picking up the stamp bill though which I'm pleased about :D

A simple pint for giving up my only rest day in two weeks will do though

Hopefully you should all receive tickets tomorrow or the next day - off to give myself writers cramp now! :clown:

Still writing envelopes out, I feel this might be a long old day and my tongue has definitely felt better than this before

Two minute break then I'm attacking envelopes 37 onwards

Awww man, this means I'm out of the lucky dip since I'm collecting my ticket!

I certainly can't speak for everyone but I personally think you should keep one of those 'chillout zone' tickets for yourself given the effort you've put into organizing all of this Karl.

Loads of us met at the services at Bristol last year (mr2oc I think). Might be a good idea to meet there again and do a train up to morrisons near Combe. Not done a mr2 train in too long!!

I'm in this position now - engine in bits and very little inside the car. MOT Saturday morning!

Karl - thanks for organising and sending out the tickets - I really appreciate it!
