[Mk2] [Turbo] Gearbox oil looks like blamonge

After starting on the engine swap i noticed the oil in the gearbox is a little strange, i dont know weather someone in the past has tried to hide something in the gearbox eg a whine or a clunk, or if their is a valid reason for the colour.

Looks like a red oil has been used and mixed with a clear type giving the pinky look. Maybe a bit of water mixed in too.

Its got a very potent smell of oil, Just curious as i bought the car as a non runner so haven't been able to drive the car yet to see how the box sounds,Just don't want to rebuild it all to have to take the box out again.
