I do this too lol or park over 2 spaces rediculoisly so people don't bang my doors

I got a parking ticket for exactly this. The infraction they stated was 'not parked wholly withing the bay'. Yea so I was parked across 2 bays but the carpark was relatively quiet. Not exactly ajy issues for space.

Refused to pay and now keep getting threatening debt collection letters.

Got a ticket in Hertford for the same thing had my wheels on the white line £40 fine
:( and i was one of only 3 cars on the entire floor of the carpark!!

Just ignore those tickets guys. If they persist, send them an invoice for your time, say £30p/h. Then assume the matter closed.

Ha, over here they cancel your car registration and suspend your licence for fine default.

 I have this problem but it`s the roar of the Nur. Have a glance in your rear view and there`s hazard lights flashing and alarms going off up the street, not good.. lol.

You know you drive an MR2 when....

You don't feel as bored with it's character and you generally look back at it when you park \:D/

When you drive around doing strange manouvers in car parks to make certain noises happen so you can pin down where its coming from. Asking every single passenger that gets in the car to do the same.

Great thread :)

When your wife thinks it's horrible to drive and you are secretly pleased she won't be using in it very much.

When you are the wrong side of 40 and think to yourself "do I look stupid driving this car?" but then think I don't give a s*** coz I love it.

Hello all!Sooooo........
When one of your oldest friends (who owns a cav turbo 1993) gets in and chuckles whilst mumbling some incoherent nonsense about perms, crops, weaves etc,and then utters not a word for the approximately 7 min trip on a favourite back road.........and then exits the car a shade greener than when they entered.
When your LONG suffering wife experiences violent fuel cut (and bangs her head)in winter because you forgot to compensate for the lower ambient temperatures and turn your boost down.
When you realise that your "to do" list is an infinitley extending geometric progression......towards fiscal bankruptcy.
When said friend later discusses the possibility of a front wheel drive 3S-GTE car (as they would prefer "FF" dynamics.
When 2 of your friends(including said friend) now own mr2's because they have seen the light.
When on your favourite stretch of road all the thought experiments, engineering, will and sacrifice, gels together into what i can only describe as a seamless drive.
Oh and quite obviously, the visceral beauty that is an mr2 turbo.
As Always Peace and Love!

Very embarrassing when it happens half way through overtaking a Corsa on a single carriageway.

when everywhere you go you snap necks

the looking back as you walk away is most definitely true

when you make excuses to the mrs to pop out the shops etc just so you can drive the mr2

when no matter how long you have been driving your still comfy as feck!
