Who was it that did some replacement bumper skin brackets, I think I remember, someone was selling an alternative, to least the one that fixes the front inner bumper skin etc.

I used 20x3 flat bar and hammered in some bolts like this

Just hammer them in and get nuts to suit.Its a pig to keep the brackets from falling out when you go to put the skin back on.

Coanda's plates are a lot neater than mine- I took my bumper off on Sunday so will post up a picture of mine later.

You'll need very shallow CSKs to get that to work but it should
- I would look at the fasteners you can get before deciding on the final way forward
- I went with riv nuts because they are ally, easy to get, and the bolts will look neater than the studs and flanged nuts will.
