[Mk2] [Turbo] Hub/wheel bearing problem??

Post by joemacmr2 »

So I had the front wheel off today and noticed when I was putting it back on that there was movement on the lug nuts inside the hub as in they all move together if u move one of them. Is this normal?? Could this be causing the violent steering wheel shake i am experiencing at 70 mph??

You do know the disc sits on the front face of the hub, and is only clamped tight when the wheel is on?

Better to ask than ignore something you don't understand and have a wheel fall off!!
