Anyone know of any good body/car restoration places in or around Yorkshire that can do a decent job of sill repairs?

if anyone needs there sills doing. go on ebay and search classic mobile welding. or call 07792202450. this guy is based in leicester but dont mind traveling (uk). i had mine done by him and it cost me £120 for both sides. you must think that was just a cheap repair job. but is work it top quality

No way is that guy doing a proper job for £120, and by that I mean cutting out & treating the rust, fabricating new sills, welding & painting.

Maybe a surface welded patch, which is totally adequate for MOT purposes.

Cutting out rot, repairing inner sill, and butt welding an outer sill repair panel for a flush finish takes many hours.

Couldn't find the sill repair thread I was looking for (the chap fabricated his own, very professional job), but this may of use.
