Re: fan jet washers
We have started using the Volvo S40
& S60 ones in the MK2, not sure if they would be any good in the MK1

Re: fan jet washers
I needed a new washer jet late last year for my Mk1 and had looked at Mk2 ones, but they're quite a bit bigger.
If you definitely wanted to do it you would have to increase the size of the holes in the bonnet and also possibly cut a hole through the webbing underneath the bonnet below the washer jet holes for the pipe to connect on to and to give easier access.![](./images/smilies/spacer.gif)
![](./images/smilies/spacer.gif)
Also, using toyodiy.com it suggests that the Mk1 washer jets are unique to the Mk1.![](./images/smilies/spacer.gif)

Re: fan jet washers
When I get my Volvo ones delivered I'm more happy to take some measurements for people if that would help?
![](./images/smilies/spacer.gif)
I have no clue if they are bigger or smaller than the standard mk2 ones tbh![Think :-k](./images/smilies/eusa_think.gif)

The yaris ones are weaker, give poor flow and are substantially bigger than the standard mk2 ones sitting proud on the bonnet.

Re: fan jet washers
I have moved the washer jets to the wiper arm using washer jets from a Mercedes Sprinter rear wiper arm.

Re: fan jet washers
Have you got any pictures
- I've looked at doing this before.

I'd be intrigued to see it
- aren't the wiper arms from the Sprinter a little bulky?

I may be wrong but think Eric has found a way of attaching Sprinter nozzles to the MR2 arms

Can't find any relevant pics at the mo
Re: fan jet washers
Yes, I mounted only the nozzels from the Sprinter to the original MR2 wiperarms.
It was a bit tricky to route the water hoses out of sight but the result is very decent.
Will take some pictures when I come to my shed again next week.![](./images/smilies/spacer.gif)

I have found universal connector for jets to arms but I'm not sure what it would look like/spray like

Re: fan jet washers
My mate on his E30 used one big wiper blade and moved the motor to the centre of the windscreen, and then used a bus type method with hose going up the arm and sprays along the blade.![](./images/smilies/spacer.gif)
