Will a baby/child seat fit in a MR2 MK1 and is it legal?

Hi there I was just wondering if a baby/child seat will fit in a MR2 MK1 and is it legal? I no its not probably the best idea in the world but it would only be temporary thing before I will be getting another car?

As to if they will fit or not I reckon a trip to a supplier would be the best bet so some can be test fitted.

Thank you Chris! I thought I maybe able to but that's just confirmed I am allowed. Ill have to look at a car seat that will fit most cars.

Yes it's legal and yes they fit. What sort of car seat is it??

I used my car daily to take my son places with a baby rear facing sat and a toddler forward facing seat.

yeah they fit and its fine, as long as no front airbag (not in a mk1), but daisy reguarly went out in my SC,
and now on a booster seat (she is 5) when it was on the road my current mk1, and she cannot wait for it to be a 1.5, she loves it and apparently its "our Toy car" not just mine
so me and daisy share it and she has become very attached to it as its something we do together

Yeah childs car seat is fine I have had both rear facing and a forward facing seats In there, my Daughter just keeps telling me faster faster, im sure she 's trying to get me nicked.
